Summary
Article written with Matthias Machtelinckx for E-Commerce Law & Policy (January 2015) on the coalition agreement of the Belgian centre-right government sworn in on 11 October 2014. It reviews the priorities that the agreement sets for the next four years in the digital field and in intellectual property. Because these areas are largely harmonised at EU level, the Member States have limited room for manoeuvre, and the coalition commits to a small number of targeted policies, which the article presents.
