Presentation given at an IP seminar on 16 May 2017 reviewing recent intellectual property case law. It discusses the Gautzsch design case (CJEU, C-479/12) and its follow-up in Brussels, the Combit Software and Iron & Smith trade mark cases, Microsoft v Ranks on the resale of software back-up copies, Genentech on patent licence fees, the Heksenkaas cases, Ryanair and Syral.
