IP protection

Summary

Presentation given on 16 March 2016 on intellectual property protection. It covers copyright (subject matter, conditions of protection, rights, exceptions, term and independent creation), trade marks (registration, availability, admissibility and the scope of protection) and patents (subject matter, conditions, application and rights), and ends with five common mistakes: failing to document ownership, assuming that something is in the public domain, missing opportunities for protection, taking granted patents for granted and choosing a bad name.
