Hakim Haouideg is a Belgian qualified lawyer specialising in contentious and non-contentious intellectual property and IT law.

He is currently practicing as a partner of the Brussels office of fieldfisher (IP/IT Practice Group).

He has experience of practising in all areas of intellectual property law with a particular focus on copyrights and trade marks. He has also litigated matters in the area of technology law, such as internet service provider liability and domain name disputes.

On the non-contentious side, Hakim assists clients in drafting and negotiating IT agreements (licensing, consulting & outsourcing) as well as R&D and technology transfer agreements. He also advises on brand protection issues.

Hakim holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Louvain (2002), a master in intellectual property from the Catholic University of Brussel (2004) and a LLM in Law, Science and Technology from Stanford University (2006).

He speaks French (native), Dutch and English.
